Slime Care Guide

Taking care of your slime helps it stay stretchy, soft, and fun for as long as possible!

Keep It Clean

  • Always wash your hands before and after playing with slime. Dirt, crumbs, or lotion can make it sticky or change the texture.

  • Use a clean surface—a desk, table, or mat works great! Avoid carpets, blankets, or fabric since slime can stick.

Storage Tips

  • Always store slime in its container when you’re done. Keep the lid tightly closed to prevent it from drying out.

  • Store it in a cool place, away from direct sunlight or heat. (Heat can make slime melt or change texture!)

Fixing Common Slime Problems

  • Too Sticky? Add a drop or two of activator or slime spray, then knead it until it feels just right.

  • Too Stiff or Hard? Add a few drops of lotion or warm water, knead slowly, and it should soften back up.

  • Is the Slime Drying Out? Mix in a bit of glycerin or unscented lotion to refresh the texture.

Keep It Fresh

  • Don’t mix your slime with other types unless you’re experimenting—it can change color or texture.
